About Us

GFA World is a Christian missions order committed to serving the "least of these" in Asia and Africa, bringing the love of Jesus to communities where He is not yet known. Today, nearly 3 billion people have little to no opportunity to ever hear the name of Jesus. As a small, close-knit family, we are dedicated to excellence, prayer, and fulfilling the Great Commission through the faithful stewardship of our resources.

The Role: Why It Matters

This role is the operational heartbeat of our UK office. Every donation, prayer, and ministry activity relies on strong systems and faithful stewardship behind the scenes. You will help ensure GFA World remains financially sound, legally compliant, and a healthy place for staff to serve. You will steward the resources entrusted to us by our partners, support the staff who carry out the ministry, and maintain the systems that allow our work to grow sustainably.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys creating and improving systems, spotting gaps, and ensuring important things do not fall through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

Finance (25%): Manage QuickBooks Online, process payroll, prepare budgets, and handle reconciliations and year-end processes.
People & Culture (25%): Administer our HR system (Employment Hero), coordinate recruitment and onboarding, and maintain staff records and policies.
Compliance & Governance (25%): Maintain awareness of regulations, manage health & safety records, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment.
Operations & Facilities (25%): Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the office, liaise with suppliers, and oversee office security and equipment.

Christian Community Life

Prayer is central to who we are. All staff participate in regular corporate prayer times, including reading Scripture and praying for our ministry and staff.

About You

This is an Occupational Requirement for a practising Christian. You must be an active member of a local church and subscribe to our Statement of Faith and the Nicene Creed. We are looking for someone who shares our faith, believes in our mission, and demonstrates the initiative and ability to learn that are essential in a small organisation.

Required:

Experience in accounting and HR administration.

Naturally organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable with financial systems, spreadsheets, and IT software.

A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership.

Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Desirable:

Experience with QuickBooks Online and Employment Hero.

Experience in a charity or ministry setting.

Experience with payroll, budgeting, and health & safety administration.

Our Core Values

We are a people of integrity and excellence, living in submission to God's word. We are committed to prayer, a servant lifestyle, grace and love, and serving sacrificially. We are sold out to win the lost at any cost, working together with the body of Christ.

If you share our faith and have the skills to steward our resources effectively, we would love to hear from you.

Apply before 24th July 2026. You must already have the Right to Work in the UK.
