Trainee/Assistant Pastor (part-time, 8hrs/week)

Vinelife Church Wilmslow is an independent evangelical and charismatic church, founded in 2000, coming under the church planting scheme of what was then Manchester Vineyard led by Martyn & Linda Smith. We profess orthodox Christian beliefs but seek to be more culturally accessible than more traditional expressions of church.

We are now looking to employ a Trainee/Assistant leader to help grow the church and develop our existing members in the areas of intimacy with the Holy Spirit, discipleship and outreach. The position is part-time (8 hours per week) and fixed term (1 year) but with the potential of becoming permanent (and with more hours) depending on the needs of the church as it grows and develops.

The successful candidate will have a strong and vibrant relationship with God, be well versed in the Bible, profess orthodox, evangelical & charismatic beliefs and will preferably have experience of ministry whether that be on a professional or voluntary basis. They will be teachable, prepared to undergo training as necessary and, above all, have a ministry ethos of loving service.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and skill set but will start in the region of £12 - £15 per hour.
