Do you have a passion for God and His word and a calling to serve Him as pastor of our Church? With a heart for discipleship and a commitment to evangelism, you will desire to apply God’s word, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to help our church grow in spiritual maturity and reach our community for Christ.  

We are a village church of around 70 adults and children to the east of Oxford attracting Christians from different backgrounds wanting to serve Christ and the local community.   We are blessed with a very wide age range: we have active youth and children’s groups, home groups and are involved with various ministries.  We have strong overseas mission links in various countries.

We are an independent church within the Evangelical Alliance, having good working relationships with the other churches in and near Wheatley. We seek a pastor who

·       will help us to grow further in our knowledge and love of God

·       is able to communicate effectively through preaching

·       is a leader who has a strong desire to develop others

·       has experience in pastoral ministry

·       welcomes breadth across the evangelical spectrum

·       endorses our Basis of Faith
