Do you want to use your financial expertise to strengthen the church’s voice and impact across the UK?

The Evangelical Alliance is the largest and oldest body representing the UK’s two million evangelical Christians. For more than 180 years, we have brought Christians together and helped them to be heard by government, media and society.

We are seeking an experienced finance manager to lead our financial operations, ensuring good stewardship of our resources to underpin our mission and long-term sustainability.

Working closely with leaders across the organisation, you will provide trustworthy financial insight, strengthen controls and processes, and help shape wise decisions for the future. In doing so, you will play a vital role in enabling the Evangelical Alliance to fulfil its vision – to make Jesus known by uniting the church in mission and voice.

If you have:
- a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent senior-level experience
- strong experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls in a charity context, together with a confidence in preparing statutory accounts and working with external auditors
- strong analytical skills, with the ability to spot risks and translate data into practical insights
- the ability to communicate clearly and relationally with non-finance colleagues and support decision-making

and you’re up for working in a fast-paced environment with a faith-filled team, then we’d love to hear from you.
