Freedom Hub Manager

Freedom Hub Manager    -1 year fixed term contract

Hours: 15 hours per week
 

Freedom Church is looking for a passionate and strategic leader to lead and develop our social action and the Freedom Hub, helping us live out our mission through practical service, community engagement and compassionate responses to local need. The Freedom Hub brings together a range of community ministries, including Foodbank, Christians Against Poverty and Job Coaching, alongside other initiatives that serve and connect with our local community.

Working closely with the Senior Leader, you will provide strategic oversight of the Freedom Hub, lead and support staff and volunteers, build strong community partnerships and help develop sustainable responses to emerging local needs. You will also help create meaningful pathways from practical support towards relationships, church community and opportunities to explore faith. We’re looking for someone who combines strong leadership and organisational skills with a heart for people, community transformation and the mission of the local church.

Faith requirement:
As the this role is part of the ministry of Freedom Church, it is an occupational requirement that the post holder has a personal commitment to the Christian faith (as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010). As part of this, our preference would also be that they are an active, committed member of a local church.
