Could you lead our lively, all-age, multi-cultural fellowship and equip us further for outreach and service?

Newcastle Baptist Church (Staffordshire) is a welcoming, Bible-based church seeking a  culturally-sensitive minister with strong preaching skills and a pastoral heart, to lead our 200-strong fellowship into the next stage of church life and witness.

Our ideal minister will have good communication skills, organisational abilities, a sense of humour and the confidence to actively encourage  others to play their part.  He or she will help us to grow as followers of Jesus, strengthen our cross-cultural friendships and help us build our links with the many local people who use our premises each week as well as those we meet at work and play.

You will join a committed ministry team comprising a full-time Ministry Assistant who leads our thriving youth and children’s work, a part-time Children’s Worker and a part-time Pastoral Worker.

The post is full-time.  We offer a salary in the range of £39,444 to £47,332 and we contribute towards the Baptist Pension  scheme. A non-BU accredited minister will be asked to complete approved training which can be undertaken alongside ministry.

There is an Occupational Requirement for the post-holder to be a committed Christian under the Equality Act 2010.  Please note that we are not able to sponsor visas so applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.
