Church Profile

We are an Assemblies of God church located between the moors and the coast in the small town of Camelford. On an average Sunday 80+ adults and 20+ children gather for worship in a loving and welcoming atmosphere. Our demographic spans all age groups with an above average number of young adults and draws from a radius of 10-15 miles. Our Church was planted in 1987 on the foundation of expository preaching and an emphasis on youth and children. Our large well-equipped building is situated in the centre of the town and we also have a shopfront location in the high street from which we run foodbank/clothesbank and signposting for those in need. We have recently started a garden project to grow produce and provide meaningful activity for those who need it.

We run a weekly stay and play, children’s Bible club, youth club, young adults outreach/fellowship, lunch time Bible study for seniors, as well as prayer meeting and Wednesday night meeting. The church is blessed with a high level of volunteers.

Unusually for a rural church we have an international flavour because of our present pastor’s evangelistic work overseas. We regularly have visiting speakers from Norway, Israel, Ukraine and USA.
